About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Community Meals Delivery Driver to join our team at South Gloucestershire Council. As a Community Meals Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in delivering nutritious meals to members of our community who may not be able to cook for themselves.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver meals to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Build relationships with customers and provide excellent customer service
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve service delivery targets
  • Ensure all meals are delivered in good condition and to the correct customer
  • Report any issues or concerns to the team leader

Requirements

  • A full driving license is essential for this role
  • Knowledge of the South Gloucestershire area is desirable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift and carry meals and equipment
