Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated High Voltage Technician to join our team at Megger. As a critical member of our Service, Calibration, and Repairs department, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of high voltage electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on high voltage equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
  • Travel to customer sites to carry out high voltage and low voltage service repairs/inspections, providing expert technical support and guidance.
  • Conduct tests and measurements to verify equipment performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components, utilizing your technical expertise and knowledge of electrical systems.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new high voltage systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
Requirements:
  • BTEC qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with the repair and servicing of high voltage products, including Megger equipment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices related to high voltage work, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Methodical approach with strong diagnostic skills, able to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
  • Full UK Driving Licence, with the flexibility to travel to various job sites as needed.
