Job Title: High Voltage Repairs Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated High Voltage Repairs Technician to join our team at Megger. As a key member of our Service, Calibration and Repairs department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and safety of high voltage electrical systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on high voltage equipment.
  • Travel to customer sites and carry out high voltage and low voltage service repairs/inspections.
  • Produce service tour inspection reports including H&S checks and risk assessments.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues.
  • Conduct tests and measurements to ensure equipment performance.
  • Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new high voltage systems.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations at all times.
  • Document all service activities and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize system performance.
Qualifications:
  • BTEC qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Familiar with the repairs and servicing of High Voltage products.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety practices applicable to working with High Voltage.
  • Methodical with a practical ability including diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and the ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
