About the Role

Interpath Advisory is seeking an experienced Financial Modelling Assistant to join our growing team. As a key member of our Data & Technology group, you will play a crucial role in developing our financial modelling capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support large and small projects to help clients tackle business issues.
  • Apply technical skills to devise compelling and well-thought-out solutions to complex problems.
  • Build constructive working relationships to develop internal and external networks.
  • Provide high-quality and flexible modelling solutions for a diverse range of clients.
  • Use existing and develop new modelling skills to support delivery, develop capabilities, and share knowledge on solutions and best practice techniques.
  • Develop tactical solutions that automate finance and other operations.
  • Develop data models to support modelling and analytics deliverables.
  • Use visualisation and analytical software to drive insights from data to inform client decisions.
Key Competencies
  • Aptitude for managing projects, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Exposure to scoping, designing, and building financial models.
  • Strong communication skills to describe complex technical issues in a clear and non-technical way.
  • Experience in supporting multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in building and maintaining strong working relationships across a range of teams.
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements in a controlled manner.
Requirements
  • A recognised finance or accounting qualification (ACA/CIMA/CFA or similar).
  • A first-class or upper second-class degree in a numerate subject.
  • Experience in the Business Intelligence/Data Analytics space.
  • University degree 2.1 or higher (or equivalent) in Computer Science/Mathematics/Statistics or equivalent.
  • Completion of a recognised financial modelling course.
  • Consulting experience.
  • Data visualisation experience in Power BI, QlikView, or Tableau.
  • Numerate & analytical with knowledge of data management.
