Radiology Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Radiology Clerk to join our team at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our clinical teams.

• Provide a high-quality, responsive telephone service, handling high volumes of calls and making appointments for patients.
• Assist in the organization and servicing of clinics within radiology, ensuring smooth operations and efficient patient flow.
• Advise patients according to agreed protocols, providing clear and concise information.
• Prepare referrals for verification and/or discussion by consultant radiologists/sonographers.
• Deal with DNA patients according to department protocols, ensuring timely and effective communication.
• Liaise with medical staff regarding inpatient appointments and ward visits, maintaining excellent relationships.
