Radiology Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Radiology Clerk to join our team at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support to our medical staff and patients.

• Provide a high-quality telephone service, handling a high volume of calls and ensuring that patients receive accurate information and support.
• Assist in the organization and servicing of clinics within the radiology department, ensuring that all necessary preparations are made and that patients are well-informed.
• Advise patients according to agreed protocols, providing clear and concise information to ensure their understanding and compliance.
• Prepare referrals for verification and discussion by consultant radiologists and sonographers, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
• Deal with DNA patients according to department protocols, ensuring that all necessary actions are taken to minimize delays and disruptions.
• Liaise with medical staff to arrange inpatient appointments and ward visits, ensuring that all necessary arrangements are made and that patients receive the best possible care.
