Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

Rubicon Recruitment is proud to present a challenging role for a skilled Maintenance Engineer. As a key member of the production team, you will play a vital part in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of machinery at our client's site in Lichfield.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their maintenance skills in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the manufacturing team to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions to maintain production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery across the site.
  • Work to improve plant efficiency and performance by identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Provide technical engineering support to the manufacturing team.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with colleagues to ensure all safety and site policies are met.


About the Role:
The successful candidate will have experience undertaking maintenance on a range of electro-mechanical systems, familiarity with manufacturing machinery, and general site maintenance. A strong understanding of electrical and mechanical safety systems, as well as health and safety documentation, including food safety, is essential. Completion of relevant Engineering Qualification (e.g., NVQ/HND) is also required.

What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will benefit from a bonus scheme, life assurance, employee assistance and occupational health programmes, employee discounts, and training and development opportunities.
