Lead Mechanical Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Mechanical Systems Engineer to join our team at In House Recruiter International Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for our advanced energy solutions and renewable power generation projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop rotating machine systems for the marine sector, ensuring high-quality results and compliance with business procedures, standards, and regulations.
- Integrate large electro-mechanical systems to meet environmental and transversal requirements, while prioritizing safety.
- Plan and execute engineering activities to ensure projects meet on-time delivery, cost, and quality targets, including testing and documentation.
- Participate in phase reviews, design reviews, ILS reviews, FMEA, and determine attendees, objectives, and next steps, with the ability to act as review chairperson.
- Relevant degree in Electromechanical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent qualifications.
- Proven track record of designing mechanical systems in a professional engineering environment.
- Ability to perform basic structural design and calculations, structural design specifications, and mechanical Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Solid understanding of rotor dynamics, including torsional and lateral vibration, shaft lines, bearings, mechanical coupling, and shock absorption.
- Experience using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CREO, or similar.
- Basic understanding of electrical and power generation principles.
- UK nationals only due to project requirements.
