We are seeking a seasoned Field Sales Manager to join our team at Biffa Waste Services. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing a pipeline of new business opportunities to drive profitable revenue growth for our SME division.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering new business sales and generating a sales pipeline. They will also possess a strong understanding of market research and the ability to conduct effective market analysis.

A competitive estimated salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, plus an uncapped bonus of up to £12,000 and a company car makes this an attractive opportunity for those looking to advance their careers in sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the sales process, from lead generation to close, and handover to the operations team.
  • Create and present tailored commercial offerings to potential clients.
  • Report calls, leads, quotes, and contract activity on to our Company Operating System.
  • Produce and present weekly, monthly, quarterly personal performance reports.
  • Liaise regularly with Depot Manager and Regional General Manager to determine roll out sales offensives within the region.

Requirements:

  • Proven record of delivering new business sales and generating a sales pipeline.
  • Existing network of business contacts and strong understanding of market research.
  • Confident using business software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
