Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Morriston Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to advance your clinical experience and training in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Main DutiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical pharmacy services to patients, including providing specialist advice and expertise to clinicians and nursing staff. They will also be involved in the audit, monitoring, and development of Medicines Management at ward level.
Additionally, the Clinical Pharmacist will contribute to the ongoing operational provision of the pharmacy service, participate in weekend, Bank Holiday, and out-of-hours rotas, and provide clinical pharmacy support to the dispensary.

Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Pharmacy (MPharm), a postgraduate degree in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent, and current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). They will also have post-registration experience in hospital clinical pharmacy at Band 6 or above and experience of working in a range of clinical specialties.
Desirable criteria include experience of working in medicine or surgery, evidence of presenting skills, and the ability to speak Welsh.
