Job Title: Creative Insights Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Creative Insights Analyst to join our team at Channel 4. As a key member of our Consumer Insight & Strategy department, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting large data sets to support the success of 4Studio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reporting and analysis of social media content performance and transforming it into meaningful insights
  • Encouraging colleagues to use data to drive creative strategies, based on analysis, experimentation, and competitive intelligence
  • Integrating social video performance within the wider context of viewer engagement across all platforms
  • Setting benchmarks and targets for digital strategies, building automated measurement tools, and reporting to stakeholders
  • Conducting competitor analysis on content types, brands, and channels to guide digital content strategies
  • Highlighting content trends in ongoing output and anticipating industry trends
  • Supporting digital commissioning decisions and assisting in content generation through creative thinking
  • Collaborating with our Business Intelligence team to scope, plan, and validate data analysis requirements
Requirements:
  • Experience connecting to various data sets and building analysis stories from scratch
  • Comfortable using SQL to retrieve data from different sources, with a good understanding of relational databases
  • An inquisitive and analytical mindset, with a passion for trying new things and growing with the role
  • A natural ability to analyze data, provide simple answers to complex questions, and communicate complex information effectively
  • Experience using social platform data or similar data sets
  • Experience in data cleansing and joining data from multiple datasets
  • Experience developing self-serve dashboards using tools like PowerBI or Tableau
