Job Title: Experience Insight Analyst

Reporting to the Data & Analytics Manager, the Insight Analyst's primary role will be to analyze portfolio performance, identify key trends, and report upon those findings. This is a critical role within the business, requiring significant attention to detail and management of big data sets within an ever-changing data environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and manage MI to support the business process through the delivery of analysis and insights.
  2. Work closely with operations teams to ensure changes in collections strategy do not leave any unidentified gaps in the process.
  3. Production of Operational MI in a simple and user-friendly format via the production of business MI dashboards.
  4. Maintenance of the in-house Pricing Model, monthly production of forecasts, and analysis of variance to previous months' forecasts.
  5. Work with strategy colleagues to review and report trends and potential issues identified in management information that have a direct impact on business objectives.
  6. Work with reporting and IT colleagues to share best practices and fully utilize the functionality and reporting capabilities of the organization.
  7. Ad hoc production of analysis and bespoke MI as required, mainly driven by strategy changes and client requirements.
Requirements:
  1. Experience in the credit and finance industry, preferably within Debt Recovery, in a strategic MI business environment.
  2. Excellent data sourcing and manipulation skills with advanced proficiency in SQL, VBA programming, SSIS, SSRS.
  3. Understanding of P&L drivers from an MI perspective in a credit environment, specifically within Collections & Recoveries.
  4. Analytical mindset with the ability to understand data from multiple sources and draw conclusions facilitating change and continuous improvement objectives.
  5. Ability to deal with multiple areas of work and competing priorities.
  6. Track record of being results-oriented with a view to meet and exceed business appetite for Analysis and MI.
  7. Experience of working cross-functionally with all management levels.
  8. Demonstrate confidence in presenting constructive feedback and challenges at Team Leader and Management level.
  9. Excellent communication skills with target audience alignment of the messages.
