Mechanical Engineer Shift Specialist

My client is seeking a Mechanical/Building Services Shift Engineer to join their 3-person shift team. This full-time role involves working Continental days and night shifts (7-7) and supporting various events throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete all plant and BMS checks on time, recording and communicating any issues to the Shift Lead or Supervisor.
- Perform PPM as per set schedules, maintaining high engineering standards to ensure plant and system reliability.
- Be proactive in preventative maintenance and maintain good site husbandry.
- Adhere to engineering standards in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA).
- Follow onsite Quality Assurance procedures, maintaining accurate records and documentation for mechanical aspects of PPM and plant.
- Promptly address Helpdesk-related reactive maintenance issues related to heating, ventilation, pumps, water tanks, valves, pipe work, and associated mechanical systems.
Requirements:
- Experienced Mechanical Technician with a high standard of building services provision (planned and reactive) in a commercial environment.
- Relevant qualifications to work as a Mechanical Engineer, including:
- NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 (Building Services or Mechanical discipline)
- 3-5 years experience in a similar field (critical or stadia environments)
