Job Title: Mechanical Shift Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Shift Engineer to join our team at Invictus Recruitment Careers. As a Mechanical Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our mechanical systems, including plant and BMS checks, PPM, and reactive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform plant and BMS checks on time, recording and communicating any issues to the Shift Lead or Supervisor.
  • Complete PPM as per set schedules, maintaining high engineering standards to ensure plant and system reliability.
  • Be proactive in preventative maintenance and maintain good site husbandry.
  • Adhere to engineering standards in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA).
  • Follow onsite Quality Assurance procedures, maintaining accurate records and documentation for mechanical aspects of PPM and plant.
  • Promptly address Helpdesk-related reactive maintenance issues related to heating, ventilation, pumps, water tanks, valves, pipe work, and associated mechanical systems.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in mechanical engineering.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and plant operations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
