We are seeking an exceptional Community Outreach Coordinator to support the Regional Director in planning, curation, communication, and delivery of an effective member engagement programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for raising the profile and standing of ICAEW and Chartered Accountants among members, potential future members, and stakeholders.

The Local Membership Development Manager will work closely with the regional team and local active volunteers to support the delivery of a member-focused activity plan. This role involves being the day-to-day point of contact for the administration of the operational aspects of the regional member engagement and activity plan, collaborating with colleagues and local volunteer member groups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Raise the profile and standing of ICAEW and Chartered Accountants under the direction of the Regional Director with members, potential future members, and stakeholders.
  • Continually identify opportunities to widen existing networks and relationships and raise visibility as a point of contact with local members, member firms, and stakeholders.
  • Be the local relationship lead and work in partnership with the regional team and local active volunteers to support the delivery of a member-focused activity plan.
  • Provide accurate and insightful engagement reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc basis against agreed KPIs.
Requirements:
  • Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to build and maintain strong local/regional connections.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Experience of event curation, planning (inc. budgets) & delivery (virtual & physical formats).
  • Attention to detail and excellent organisation skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise.
