Deputy Manager Role Overview
YHA Ambleside is seeking a highly skilled Deputy Manager to support the hostel manager in delivering exceptional customer experiences and achieving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the achievement of targets across all aspects of hostel operation, including food and beverage.
- Maximise revenue while controlling expenditure.
- Support the hostel manager in managing a team of employees and occasional volunteers.
- Undertake housekeeping, reception, and food and beverage tasks on a daily basis.
Requirements
- Flexibility to cover different shifts and tasks.
- Previous leadership experience and experience managing budgets.
- Food safety level 2 and APLH level 2 qualifications desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, timekeeping, and basic IT skills.
