Job Description

Vestas is a leading manufacturer of wind turbines, and we are seeking a highly skilled Power Curve Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing wind turbine performance and driving the next level of power curve analysis and site performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyzing wind turbine performance data, including power curve analysis
  • Reviewing technical customer questions and reports, providing answers and reports, and presenting technical matters at customer meetings
  • Collaborating with the Service team to drive product improvements from a Service point of view
  • Providing direct support to service technicians in troubleshooting stopped turbines for repair tasks
  • Creating, updating, and maintaining trouble-shooting guides (VGAs)
  • Ensuring technical knowledge is shared within Technical Support and Service
Requirements
  • A technical degree or Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of WTG control systems (VOB, Toolkit, VTM, etc.) will be counted as an advantage
  • Working experience from the wind industry will be counted as an advantage
Benefits

The salary for this position is approximately £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, pension scheme, and generous holiday allowance.
