Role Description


We are seeking a skilled Assistant Planner to support project delivery across our existing and growing client base in our Reading office. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering projects and supporting the growth and development of the business.


Responsibilities and Requirements


  • Conducting planning activities as directed by the project coordinator.
  • Developing technical knowledge in the field of town planning.
  • Day-to-day management of time.
  • Working on projects with a view to meeting agreed client requirements and deadlines.
  • Client contact as required in support of senior colleagues.
  • Achieved or working towards achieving professional membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
  • Contributing to own continuing professional development through attendance at appropriate training courses and internal CPD sessions and wider reading.


Skills and Qualifications


  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
