Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Abm Facilities

Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts, Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm, 8am-5pm, 9am-6pm

Salary: Up to £46,000 per annum

Role Overview and Purpose

This is a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, requiring a strong focus on maintenance and customer satisfaction. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and specialists to deliver high-quality maintenance services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with the Helpdesk and Management Teams to provide excellent service delivery to our customers.
  • Ensure all PPMs are completed with a 100% completion rate, including statutory and non-statutory tasks.
  • Coordinate the booking of third-party specialists and ensure relevant paperwork is obtained, reviewed, and saved.
  • Maintain a good understanding of Health and Safety protocols and ensure compliance.
  • Manage a team of direct reports to deliver the contract to a valued customer.
  • Participate in an out-of-hours callout rota for this contract.
  • Undertake routine, reactive, and additional works as required.
  • Compile monthly reports to track performance and progress.

Required Skills and Experience

  • City & Guilds Technical qualifications in Electrical and Building Services.
  • Previous supervisory experience in managing engineers and specialists.
  • Experience with using CAFM systems.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Good IT skills, including intermediate-level Excel and Word.
  • Strong understanding of M&E Building Services.
  • Ability to maintain accurate site logbooks.
  • Experience in dealing with routine M&E and emergency building services activities.

Desirable:

  • IOSH/NEBOSH qualification.
  • Authorised Person qualifications in Electrical, Mechanical, Confined Spaces, Working at Height, LOTO, and Water Hygiene.
