Job Description:
  1. Assess the needs of children and young people who require social work services, identifying risk and protection requirements.
  2. Comply with statutory obligations and departmental policies and procedures.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on the Integrated Children's System (ICS) at all times.
  4. Participate in professional supervision sessions and staff meetings, leveraging all available training and developmental opportunities.
  5. Contribute to the evaluation and development of services by sharing knowledge with other Social Services staff, professional groups, and interested bodies.
  6. Provide professional support to newly qualified and less experienced social work staff to enable them to develop their knowledge and skills.
  1. Social Work England (SWE) Registration
  2. Eligibility to work in the UK
  3. Valid driver's license and access to a car
  4. Post-qualified experience in social work
  5. Degree-level or equivalent qualification in Social Work
