About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our M&E Design team at MacStaff. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing electrical systems for various projects across different sectors, including healthcare, commercial, industrial, education, hotels, leisure, manufacturing, and retail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing electrical systems for projects up to £10M
  • Working closely with the M&E Design team to deliver high-quality designs
  • Designing all electrical aspects of projects, including small power, fire, lighting, security, and access control
  • Collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest design packages and technology

Requirements

To be successful as an Electrical Design Engineer, you will have experience working within the building services sector as an electrical design engineer, electrical engineer, or electrical building services design engineer, with either a consultancy or contracting background. You will also have a working knowledge of programs such as CAD and Revit. Additionally, a HND and/or degree in electrical/building services engineering, or CIBSE membership, would be an advantage.
