Electrical Design Engineer Job Description

At MacStaff, we're seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing electrical systems for industrial and commercial premises.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems for industrial and commercial premises.
  • Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and coordinate with other trades to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Review external design solutions and conduct site inspections to provide technical support.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, project managers, engineers, and estimators to understand their requirements and develop innovative solutions.
Requirements:
  • HND in Electrical Engineering.
  • Proficient in CAD/Revit and Trimble design software.
  • Strong knowledge of regulations and building codes.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
