About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Oakdene Care Home. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred care to residents, including personal care, meal support, and mobility assistance.
  • Support daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while promoting independence and dignity.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and supportive care environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in healthcare and social care.
Requirements
  • SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 6 months of experience as a Healthcare Assistant or in a related role.
  • Passion for providing care to the elderly and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
