Job Description: Children's Emergency Unit Clinical Assistant

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Clinical Support Worker in the Children's Emergency Unit.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a highly competent team of nurses and consultants, providing excellent patient care and support.

Responsibilities:

  • To assist the qualified nursing staff in maintaining patient standards of care
  • To work under the supervision of a qualified nurse within the endoscopy rooms
  • To undertake cannulation and venepuncture as required to improve patient pathway
  • To maintain strict infection control standards

Qualifications and Experience:

  • NVQ3/equivalent
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting
  • Awareness of Health and Safety and Security procedures and policies

The estimated salary for this role is £24,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
