About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Development Occupational Therapist to join our Transformation Unit at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This exciting opportunity will allow you to develop your skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.

As a Clinical Development Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in supporting the development of innovative occupational therapy services that meet the needs of patients and the organization. You will work closely with our experienced team to identify service development needs, implement new approaches, and evaluate their effectiveness.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement clinical guidelines and protocols for occupational therapy services
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for patients with complex presentations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care and support
  • Participate in service reviews and quality improvement initiatives to drive continuous improvement
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
  • HCPC Registration
  • Member of Special Interest group
  • Evidence of post-registration experience in a junior rotational post providing a broad experience in musculoskeletal/medical surgical conditions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £39,100 - £46,170 per annum, plus benefits including pension scheme, annual leave, and access to training and development opportunities.
