Your Role

We're seeking a skilled Traffic and Studio Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for:

Traffic Management
  • Day-to-day short-term traffic management of work within the studio
  • Working with the PM team to ensure all briefs and assets are ready to go before resource booking
  • Monitoring and managing employees' workload, utilization, and overtime hours
  • Understanding our workforce and ensuring all bookable people are in the system, work calendars are correct, and we have an accurate view of capacity
  • Assigning resources to projects in accordance with their availability, skillsets, and previous experience
  • Managing resource conflicts and overcoming shortages through resource management techniques
  • Escalating issues related to inability to meet project needs due to resourcing
  • Providing project managers with support on resource management issues or improving resource management processes
Studio Management
  • Overseeing the maintenance of the studio spaces to ensure they are in working condition
  • Managing the equipment booking and inventory system to ensure all client and internal shoots have the necessary equipment
  • Working with project leads to prepare the studio space for shoots
  • Being the point of contact between external suppliers and Social Chain teams for camera and lighting equipment
  • Developing and managing the online server for the Studio and Projects team to ensure all work is stored and backed up
Expectations

Candidates for this role will be expected to be in the office at least 3 days per week and as required on shoot days.

Requirements

We're looking for someone with:

  • An understanding of social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter)
  • Strong management skills, with the ability to maintain a cool head when working to tight deadlines
  • Excellent organisation, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of video, photography, and lighting equipment
  • Knowledge of Adobe Products
  • Ability to prioritise workloads dependent on deadlines
