About the Role

We are seeking a Renewable Energy Ecology Director to join our team at The Green Recruitment Company.

This role involves leading ecology and ornithology projects across various development types, including renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies for delivering ecological surveys and data recording to a high standard.
  • Provide technical expertise in ornithology and mentor junior staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with line managers to set personal professional development reviews and identify relevant training activities.
  • Apply nature conservation legislation and Case Law in project negotiations.
  • Deliver precise reports for baseline, advisory, compliance, licensing, and ecological impact assessments.
  • Lead marketing efforts and contribute to campaigns, press releases, and website updates.

Salary Range: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
