Resuscitation Service Manager

The Commissioning Officer will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive Resuscitation Service across the Trust. This will involve developing, delivering, and evaluating a resuscitation curriculum according to policy and protocols. The post holder will also advise and participate in resuscitation practice and work in the commissioning of resuscitation equipment.
Main Responsibilities
Participate in maintaining a well-coordinated resuscitation service across the Trust
Ensure compliance and implementation of Trust policies and procedures relating to resuscitation
Contribute to the training in resuscitation for all grades of staff
Provide advice to staff on issues relating to adult and paediatric resuscitation, cardiac arrest prevention, and recognition of the sick patient
Undertake risk assessment activities as directed by the Resuscitation Lead or Senior Resuscitation Officer
Requirements
ALS Provider or working towards
Resuscitation Council PILS Instructor or working towards
RN/ODP/Paramedic
Resuscitation Council ILS Instructor or working towards
Theoretical Knowledge of Resus Council Guidelines
Ability to work with staff of all disciplines and professional background as part of a team and lead by example
Ability to plan and prioritise own workload and can rapidly assimilate information in a changing environment
Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm
Proven skills teaching record with the ability to use PowerPoint presentations
Ability to professionally express views clearly both verbally and written
