The key responsibilities of this role include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Debt Recovery: Implement best practices and discipline to eliminate overdue debt, ensuring timely payment from clients and brokers.
  • Financial Management: Oversee global debtors, ensuring compliance with company credit policy and liaising with the legal department as necessary.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Produce weekly management information to track debt recovery progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Team Management: Manage and develop a Credit Controller, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's success.

The successful candidate will possess:

Requirements:
  • Proven Experience: Previous experience in a sales organization collecting debt, ideally across multiple geographies.
  • Exceptional Skills: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence both brokers and clients.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
