About the Role

Bolton Associates is seeking a seasoned and qualified Actuary to join our international team as a Reserving Expert. This is a highly commercial role that requires a strong understanding of actuarial principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-depth profitability analyses using advanced reserving methods.
  • Develop and maintain complex data sets and reports to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve underwriting performance.
  • Provide expert actuarial guidance to insurance partners and their actuarial staff.
  • Design and implement strategic analysis and predictive modeling to inform business decisions.
  • Manage product and tool strategy and development to drive business efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or finance.
  • At least 5 years of industry experience in commercial underwriting.
  • Proven expertise in specialty, commercial, and reinsurance markets.
  • Proficient in data manipulation tools such as SQL, Alteryx, MSOffice, and PowerBI.
  • FIA qualified (or equivalent).
