Business Development Coordinator

We are seeking an exceptional Sales Support Administrator to join our team at Base Materials, a leading provider of high-performance syntactic materials.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the success of our sales department and support the growth of our business.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong administrative background, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
About the RoleAs a Sales Support Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the sales team, ensuring the entire sales order process is completed to a high standard.
Your key tasks will include:
- Processing incoming enquiries, including inputting sales orders onto the system for export and the UK.
- Creating quotes and supply agreements.
- Providing marketing support, conducting desktop research, identifying and engaging key stakeholders, and campaign support.
- Appointment setting and diary management.
- CRM management, including inputting, task setting, and follow-ups, as well as visit reports.
- Inbound and outbound calling, focusing on customer satisfaction.
- Ocassional client visits to support the sales team.
- Preparing and running reports for customers, ensuring customers complete their monthly consignment stock take, replenishing stock via sales order, and issuing corresponding sales invoices.
- Job-sheet and picking note generation.
- Raising various sales-related documents, including export and UK shipping documentation, certificates of conformity, dangerous goods certificates, job sheets for despatch, credit notes, etc.
- Ensuring all documentation meets legal obligations.
- Arranging and coordinating supplier transportation and delivery, reporting monthly to support the finance department for cost analysis.
- Liaising with internal sites and departments, working cross-functionally between Warehouse, Logistics, and Sales.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Competent user of Microsoft Office software.
- At least two years' experience in an administrative role.
- Sales support experience.
- GCSE English and Maths Grade or Higher.
- Customer services experience.
- Ability to work directly with customers on the phone.
