Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Apple Technical Recruitment (UK) Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily commercial management functions, including measurement and valuations, applications for payment, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage commercial management functions, including measurement and valuations, applications for payment, and reconciling accounts.
  • Deal with sub-contract orders and enquiries, through to practical completion of the project.
  • Work with both JCT and NEC contracts, with experience in one or both forms of contract being advantageous.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years+ experience (post graduation) as a QS.
  • Good knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts.
  • Good negotiation skills and previous experience procuring subcontractors.
  • Qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management/NVQ Level 6 or above, or comparable qualification.
