Quantity Surveyor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Emponics, a leading provider of property services in the UK. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our expanding painting division in Watford, Hertfordshire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tendering and estimating for contracts and tenders
  • Measuring and preparing cost estimates for contracts and tenders
  • Managing the pricing of tenders to maximize business wins and profitability
  • Preparing cost value reconciliations for contracts, identifying commercial risks and opportunities
  • Working closely with the Contracts Manager to ensure productivity targets are agreed and issued before contract start
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Surveyor
  • Ability to demonstrate ownership of contracts, including estimating, cost control, and CVR management
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to build strong client relationships and work effectively with trade teams and colleagues
