About the Job:
UKAS is seeking a skilled Technical Assessor to assess and verify the quality and safety of construction products. As a Regulator Specialist in the construction industry, you will be responsible for evaluating technical specifications, conducting site visits, and collaborating with manufacturers and suppliers. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading accreditation body and contribute to the improvement of the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate technical specifications of construction products.
- Conduct site visits and assessments.
- Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or Material Science.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a commercial testing laboratory or civil engineering field.
- Familiarity with ISO 17065, ISO 17020, and ISO 17021 standards.
Compensation:
- Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 per annum.
