As a Senior Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will lead product regulatory activities to ensure compliance with chemical control laws for global markets. Your expertise in chemical control regulations will be essential in developing and implementing strategies to meet regulatory requirements.

You will be responsible for monitoring, developing, and implementing programs to ensure compliance with chemical control laws. This includes working with cross-functional teams to ensure correct classification and labeling of company products for all markets.

Additionally, you will support the generation and update of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) using software to meet regional requirements. You will also monitor regulatory trends and developments, advising management accordingly.

Key qualifications include a degree in Chemistry, Toxicology, or a related scientific discipline, and a minimum of 5 years' experience working within the Regulatory Industry. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Requirements
  • Expert knowledge of chemical control regulations
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a regulatory discipline or relevant industrial experience
  • Good knowledge/experience in chemical regulations such as GHS, CLP, REACH
  • Experience working in a role related to chemical regulatory compliance
  • Experience in hazard classification and labeling for a variety of chemicals
  • Knowledge and experience of regional REACH requirements
  • Experience with SDS software such as Almego (desirable)
