About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller to join our Water and Environment North team at Waterman Aspen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working on a variety of projects for our clients, applying and developing your skills in urban drainage and wastewater systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex models of urban drainage and wastewater systems using InfoWorks ICM software
  • Conduct hydraulic analysis and design to meet industry standards and project objectives
  • Prepare and present technical reports to meet industry standards and project objectives both internally and to external clients
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams involved in Water Company hydraulic modelling projects
  • Conduct checks on technical reports and calculation outputs
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Relevant Degree qualification in Civil Engineering, geography or equivalent
  • Chartered Member or working towards chartered membership of a professional institution such as CIWEM, ICE, APM, etc.
  • Substantial experience in modelling urban drainage and wastewater systems following the appropriate standards and specifications
  • Proficiency in using InfoWorks ICM modelling software
  • Solid understanding of hydraulic analysis and design
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Chartered Membership of relevant professional organisation
