About the Role

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as a Business Development Manager. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the wider Yorkshire region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and implement a business plan to maximize sales and deliver excellent customer service
  • Prospect for potential new customers and turn this into increased business
  • Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
  • Meet potential clients and grow, maintain, and leverage your network
  • Research and build relationships with new clients
  • Plan approaches, sales presentations, and pitches
  • Meet yearly and monthly sales targets assigned to you
  • Maintain strong sales administration, including use of CRM (MS Dynamics) to follow up all leads, enquiries, and quotes

Requirements

  • Recent B2B field sales/customer facing experience
  • Demonstrate a record of impressive performance
  • Open to learning our business and sector
  • Comfortable with a more technical solution-based sales approach
  • Fully valid UK driving license
  • Reside on patch within the wider Yorkshire County area
