About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Events Coordinator to join our team at Nottingham City Council. As a key member of our events management team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality events that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To conceptualise, plan, deliver and manage major outdoor events, including festivals and sports events, ensuring they meet our client's expectations.
  • To provide exceptional client services to event promoters, brands and community groups, identifying opportunities to enhance their experiences.
  • To work closely with internal stakeholders to develop and deliver events that meet our clients' requirements and exceed their expectations.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Events Management or related field, demonstrating your expertise in event planning and delivery.
  • Proven experience in event planning, delivery and management, showcasing your ability to work flexibly and efficiently.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, early mornings, weekends and public holidays, as required by the role.
  • Physical fitness sufficient to work outdoors across various event venues, ensuring your well-being and safety.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is £26,000, rising to £27,200, reflecting the importance we place on recruiting and retaining skilled professionals like yourself. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
