Job Title: Submarine Infrastructure Manager

We are seeking an experienced Submarine Infrastructure Manager to join our team at the Defence Nuclear Enterprise. As a key member of our In-Service Submarine Nuclear Infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our submarine assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of requirements for complex submarine maintenance programs
  • Act as the Engineering Governance Lead for submarine maintenance programs
  • Provide subject matter expert advice to the Defence Nuclear Enterprise and the nuclear team
  • Collaborate with the boat maintenance and infrastructure planning teams to understand the Plant Safety Case and infrastructure requirements
Requirements:
  • Hold a relevant HNC (i.e. Level 4 or higher) qualification in Engineering or have equivalent relevant experience
  • Have experience of interfacing with the industry as a client both in a scrutiny role and supporting the identification of risks
  • Have experience of providing technical advice using wide ranging depth and breadth of technical expertise
  • Have experience of directing repair activity and defining design intent of systems structures or components
