Criminology Professional

As a recent Criminology Graduate, you have the unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable children who have been exposed to trauma and adverse childhood experiences.
This role at CV-Library offers the essential experience needed to train as an Educational Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Behaviour Therapist, or Speech and Language Therapist in the near future.
You will work with a range of students on a one-to-one basis, as well as in wider groups, helping to prepare learning materials, check on their welfare, and increase their independent living skills.
Through building strong, robust relationships, you will increase the engagement, attainment, and life chances of the children, aiming to ensure they do not enter the criminal justice system.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent Graduate or someone with previous experience working with children, providing first-hand insight into mental health and neurodiversity.
You will learn to identify the risks and needs of each child, ensuring they meet the milestones set for them.
The ideal candidate will be able to start ASAP, Monday to Friday, 8:30am until 3:30pm each day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with vulnerable children who have been exposed to trauma and adverse childhood experiences
- Provide support and guidance to help them reach their full potential
- Develop strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Contribute to the development of individualized plans to meet the needs of each child
Requirements:
- Criminology Graduate degree
- Previous experience working with children (desirable)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
