At Marriott International, we're seeking a skilled Sommelier to join our team at Booking Office 1869. As a wine connoisseur, you'll be responsible for creating memorable dining and drink experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Bar Team during service, providing expert wine recommendations and pairings.
  • Contribute to the ordering process, ensuring seamless service.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining exceptional organization and attention to detail.
  • Share your passion for wine with the team and guests, driving sales and revenue growth.
  • Deliver outstanding service, exceeding guest expectations.
  • Collaborate with Bar Supervisors to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Develop and implement wine nights, pairings, and events that showcase your expertise.
  • Lead the team on the floor, ensuring brand standards are met and revenue is maximized.
  • Work closely with supervisors to provide training opportunities for the team.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, grooming standard, body language, and tone that reflects the Marriott International brand.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Strong understanding of standards and procedures.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented, with a passion for delivering excellence in customer service.
