Post Production Director

We are seeking an experienced Director of Post Production to join our team at Career Moves Group. As a key member of our post production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the post production operations in Europe and the Middle East, as well as managing commercial post projects originating outside of the United States.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage multiple projects across various markets, including the UK, Spain, Italy, Germany, France, and the Middle East, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
- Assign, schedule, track, and project manage video post production from start to distribution, pinpointing any project and deliverable at any time for delivery timing and evaluation.
- Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to ensure proper resourcing and scheduling for every aspect of post production, including offline editing, online editing, color, sound mix, graphics, and localization.
- Determine and manage resource priorities when creative, deadlines, or other variables shift, ensuring seamless communication and workflows with global post production teams.
- Work with department leaders to create documentation and roll out Central Global Video post systems to European and Middle East markets.
- Collaborate with commercial producers and editors during post production, facilitating notes and providing creative and technical feedback as needed.
- Post production experience gained from an advertising agency, media company, post house, media publisher, or creative content productions business with global experience and experience working across a large number of productions simultaneously.
- Expert knowledge of post production processes, workflows, and best practices, including scheduling and final deliverables.
- Proven track record of managing client-based commercial post projects.
- Significant post freelancer and vendor contacts throughout Europe and the Middle East.
- Experience creating commercial post-production schedules and budgets.
- Strong leadership and team presence, with at least 2 years as a people manager.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Media Encoder, After Effects) and project management tools (Airtable) required; experience as an editor a plus.
