About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Midwife Coordinator to join our Labour Ward team at Croydon University Hospital NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our midwifery services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to junior staff members
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve clinical governance and risk management objectives
  • Contribute to the development of midwifery practice and education
  • Manage and coordinate the work of midwives and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
  • NMC Registered Midwife
  • BSc in Midwifery
  • Evidence of professional development and leadership experience
  • Assessor/mentorship course or equivalent
  • Managerial/Leadership qualifications and/or experience
