About the Role

We are seeking pharmacists with excellent clinical and communication skills to join our pharmacy team at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical pharmacy services and supporting the provision and development of medicines management services.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a hospital setting, managing clinical services and collaborating with healthcare professionals to improve patient care. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of medicines management strategies, ensuring safe and effective use of medications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services enhancing the medicines-related care of patients
  • Support the provision and development of medicines management services
  • Participate in training, education, and audit as required
  • Provide clinical pharmacy advice on the management of patients with mental illness to maximise benefit and minimise risk in relation to medicines
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Master's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification
  • General Pharmaceutical Council registration
  • PG certificate/diploma in mental health pharmacy or equivalent experience
  • Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) or Faculty membership
