Mace is seeking a highly skilled Group Reporting Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the group consolidation and reporting, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial information to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation and analysis of the group's consolidated monthly reporting in line with the internal timetable.
  • Complete consolidation adjustments and account for joint arrangements in the group.
  • Support the production of year-end reports and financial statements in line with statutory and executive management deadlines.
  • Support the annual statutory audit process and maintain templates for subsidiary statutory accounts in the statutory reporting software, OneSource.
  • Support preparers with statutory account preparation and review of UK subsidiary statutory accounts.
  • Drive improvements in group reporting capabilities, working alongside technology teams to develop robust and reliable reports for group financial reporting.
  • Respond to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data.
  • Support the group FC and group FD with day-to-day financial management of the company.
  • Support ad hoc requests for information from senior management and support ad hoc projects in group finance.
  • Stay up-to-date with accounting standards and reporting requirements.
  • Line manage 1 direct report.

Requirements:

  • Advanced Excel user.
  • Collaborate well with internal and external stakeholders, building trusting and respectful relationships.
  • Demonstrate clear, concise written and verbal communication.
  • Use own judgment to make decisions and escalate problems when necessary.
  • Adapt and react well to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Use data, data analysis, or other evidence to support solution-finding processes.
  • Work in a systematic, methodical, and orderly way.
  • Seek opportunities to learn and share knowledge.
  • Act inclusively, treat all people with respect in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Take ownership to identify, solve, and overcome challenges.
  • Lead by example and deliver on commitments.
  • ACA or ACCA qualified.
  • A-level standard qualification.
  • Maths and English GCSE or equivalent, minimum grade C.
