Key Responsibilities:
  • To lead and develop the assessment and treatment arm of the service.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in psychiatry, particularly in eating disorders, with significant experience working in inpatient settings with individuals who have complex mental health needs. You must also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Requirements:
  • Ambitious and forward-thinking individual with MBBS or equivalent medical degree and MRCPsych registration.
  • Demonstrated expertise in treating eating disorders and managing complex patient cases.
  • Strong knowledge of the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice, as well as the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Code of Practice.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
