We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Estates team, responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in commercial buildings and living accommodation.

Main Responsibilities

  • Installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Participation in the On-Call Rota and completion of all work-related documentation accurately and on time.
  • Collaboration with the wider estates team to ensure seamless electrical maintenance and support.

Requirements

  • City & Guilds Level 3 / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent technical diploma, including the 18th Edition.
  • 3 years post-qualification experience in Electrical maintenance, preferably in a commercial setting.
  • Experience with a wide range of Electrical systems and fixtures.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures, safe systems of work, and industry best practice.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and internal teams.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials, working at height, and restrictive spaces.
  • High level of attention to detail to ensure all work is completed accurately and to the highest standards.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines, with a willingness to participate in the On-Call Rota.
  • Hold a full UK driving license.
  • Ability to achieve full security clearance (SC).
