Role Overview

The University of Leeds is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Interim Admissions Lead for MBChB and Gateway to Medicine. This position will play a crucial role in selecting the best medical students for our undergraduate medical degrees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Admissions in managing the annual admissions process for approximately 280 undergraduate students onto the MBChB programme.
  • Implement policies and procedures required to securely underpin the admissions cycle in line with School, Faculty, and University strategy and objectives.
  • Liaise with academic and student education service colleagues across the Faculty of Medicine & Health and the University.
