Electrical Panel Wiring Technician Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Panel Wiring Technician to join our team at Kingston Barnes Ltd in Bristol.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building systems, sub-assemblies, and piece parts for complex systems efficiently to the right quality levels and ISO standards, and to achieve build schedules.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring that the requirements of the BOM and the customer specification are achieved
  • Identifying and resolving build problems
  • Reporting technical issues and recording using the FRACAS process
  • Maintaining technical competence by undertaking necessary training
  • Acting as a point of reference to ensure that technicians within the build area are fully aware of the build sequence
  • Training and guiding less experienced technicians
  • Setting an example of the highest level of build cleanliness, housekeeping, and Health and Safety issues within the build areas, and supporting and promoting 5S initiatives
  • Contributing to the performance of the Production Team through continuous improvement initiatives

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Electrical Panel Wiring experience
  • Essential ability to solder, crimp, and loom to a good standard
  • Electrical qualification or apprenticeship for safety reasons
  • Experience of reading electrical engineering drawings
