Physiotherapist Functional Assessor Role

Maximus is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as a Functional Assessor. In this role, you will use your clinical expertise to assess individuals with disabilities or health conditions, providing detailed reports to help determine their eligibility for benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals with complex health conditions, including chronic pain disorders and neurological, physical, and mental health conditions.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the impact of these conditions on daily life, using this knowledge to inform your assessments.
  • Produce high-quality reports that accurately reflect the individual's functional capacity, using your clinical expertise to provide detailed and objective assessments.
Requirements:
  • Valid HCPC registration number.
  • At least 1 year of broad post-registration experience gained within or outside of the NHS.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.
